Q1. What is Snapchat?
Snapchat is a social media app for your smartphone. What began as a simple messaging app for sharing photos, Snapchat is now one of the most popular and fastest growing apps in the world. As of 2017, Snapchat has surpassed Facebook, Twitter and Instagram in popularity and engagement.
Snapchat allows users send snaps (pictures, videos or messages) to friends or to upload their snaps to their story. Think of the story as Facebook's wall or timeline. People that are following a user will see everything that they posts on their story.
Q2. WHY SHOULD I USE SNAPCHAT?
Aside from connecting with friends and family, Snapchat is a powerful promotional tool for your business, product or service. You can create awareness for your brand or reach users while they are in the purchase decision phase by geo-targeting their location.
Snapchat reaches over 100 MILLION people on any given day and over 10 BILLION videos are watch on the platform on any given day. Perhaps the most impressive Snapchat statistic is this: On any given day, Snapchat reaches 41% of all 18 to 34 year-olds in the United States.
Q3. What is a Snapchat Filter?
A filter is a graphic that is overlaid on a snap (photo or video message). They are a fun way to add some pop to a snap; a good filter can make an otherwise boring snap into something special.
Most filters are based on location, while others are based on a specific time or event. Some geofilters are dynamic, such as the altitude, temperature and speed filters.
Q4. What is a Snapchat geofilter?
A “geofilter” or “geo-filter” is just another name for a Snapchat filter. Both the terms can be used interchangebbly.
The name term geofilter originates from the fact that some filters are only active inside of a “geo-fence” or designated area. For example, the Snapchat geofilter for Santa Monica will only appear when the user is within the city boundaries of Santa Monica. A user in Los Angeles cannot use the Snapchat geofilter for New York City for example.
When design and submit a custom filter for your event, we provide Snapchat with the geo-fence. Read more about the custom design process above.
Q5. Why should I use Snapchat filters?

Q6. How long does it take to get a custom Snapchat filter?
It depends on the intricacy of your design request. For designs on the simpler side, we can usually create your custom Snapchat filter in 1 or 2 days.
Custom designs that require a significant of graphic design work will usually take 2 - 4 days.
